The individuals listed below are experienced Christian Scientists who are prepared to provide spiritual reassurance and skilful physical care consistent with the theology of Christian Science. Christian Science nursing includes practical care, such as bathing, dressing wounds, assistance with mobility, modification of food and so forth. It does not include any form of medical treatment, such as diagnosing, medicine, or therapy.
Anyone who is depending solely on God for healing by applying the principles of Christian Science, as explained in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, may engage a Christian Science nurse.
The standard of the Christian Science nurse is found in the Manual of The Mother Church, page 49, Article VIII, Section 31.
